Coach Alex has so many years of experience teaching a wide range of age groups in the city. My 7 year old son has been learning soccer from Coach Alex since he was 3. He started by attending soccer where Coach Alex was his main coach. Two years ago, when the pandemic hit and there were very limited in-person sports options in the city, I asked Coach Alex to host weekly soccer classes in Central Park for my son’s kindergarten class. Thanks to his soccer classes, kids were able to get together regularly and run around freely playing soccer. In addition to teaching technical skills and rules of the game, Coach Alex teachers kids important life lessons — especially respect for one another, resiliency, discipline, confidence, and also humor! He often engages kids in fun, creative games where they learn to engage in healthy competition while collaborating as a team. Coach Alex can be strict but also funny, and kids love to follow his instructions. When he lets the kids team up and play against him, it is quite entertaining to watch how excited the kids get! And it is amazing how much attention Coach Alex pays to each kid and quickly grasps his/her strengths and weaknesses — even when he has a big group and even when the kid is new to the class. Coach Alex’s soccer classes are the best way to introduce your young ones to soccer!

Coach Alex is an engaging coach who makes soccer fun for young players! My son (now 5) has been taking classes with Alex for nearly 2 years and his hand-eye coordination and basic ball handling skills have improved noticeably - more importantly, he loves playing soccer and looks forward to his classes (and I enjoy hearing his giggles as he relays the silly games and fun antics from class when he returns). We tried other soccer programs and coaches and none were as engaging with the youngest players as Coach Alex. I highly recommend his classes for your young soccer players!

My daughter has been going to this soccer class for two years and she loves it. She gets along with her other teammates and Coach Happy as well. She has been with Coach Happy for 3 years now. Coach Happy makes the class fun for the kids, as well as shows them the skills they need to know how to become better soccer players. She cares for all her students, making sure if they understand what they are doing and making sure they are all having a good time and do not feel left out. My daughter loves going to soccer class, she would go 7 days a week if she could. You would not be disappointed. Coach Happy is a really great and educated Coach.
